Senior Tax Associate

to join our practice in

Birmingham, Alabama.

You will work with a select team providing tax compliance services to predominately manufacturing and distribution clients. You must be able to manage projects, work under time pressures, multi-task, and communicate effectively both verbal and written. The right candidate will be organized, proactive and results oriented.

What you will do:

Prepare Federal and state corporate, partnership, 1120-F permanent establishment, and individual tax returns Perform technical tax research on a variety of Federal, state, and international tax topics Assist with the preparation of income tax provisions for corporate taxpayers under ASC740 Provide timely and high-quality services and deliverables that exceed client expectations Maintain active communication to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction Prepare clear, concise work papers and other communications What you need to bring:

0-2years of professional Federal and state income tax experience including experience in public accounting BA/BS degree in Accounting or Masters degree in Accounting/Taxation CPA license or similar certification preferred Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in English Process-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Solid organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Positive team player attitude Desired Qualifications:

Experience in the manufacturing and distribution industry ProSystem fx Engagement experience CCH Axcess experience German writing andcommunication skills are an advantage but not required Benefits:
