Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and programs to foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and HR team on employee relations matters, providing guidance and support on complex issues.
  • Investigate and resolve employee complaints, grievances, and disputes in a fair and timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Provide coaching and training to managers and supervisors on effective employee relations practices, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and others.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
  • Monitor trends and identify areas for improvement in employee relations practices, recommending and implementing proactive solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of employee relations activities, including investigations and outcomes. Lead and manage a team of employee relations professionals, providing direction, guidance, and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure best practices and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in employee relations or HR management role, with demonstrated expertise in resolving complex employee relations issues.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, FMLA, and others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a focus on fairness and equity.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience leading and developing a team of HR professionals. Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred.
