TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Charlestown, Massachusetts, 02129 About The Position Weekly Pay Range - $2032 To $2257 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Hospice Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice Experience, depending on the specialty License: Must have an active license Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: - Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR system, used within the last year - Proficiency in Oasis Job Description: - Provide, coordinate, and direct the provision of home nursing care according to physicians’ orders based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process. - Responsible to the Clinical Manager; directly supervise and evaluate Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. - Perform home visits and participate in periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and agency-required liability insurance. - Manage an average of 5-8 patients per day. - Handle various types of cases including Start of Care, Wound Care, Follow-up Visits, etc. - Willingness to travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic; mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate. - Candidate must be open to on-call rotations and weekend requirements, which vary by location. - Proficient in documentation, travel, and other activities with measurable productivity goals (30 points per week). - Able to meet the productivity expectations of 25 weekly units. - Participate in a retraining course if required to refresh skills in EMR if used outside the last year. - Open to covering different territories and adapting to various work environments.
