Civil Design Engineer

Description:

Design of land development projects in the Prince George's, Anne Arundel , Montgomery and Howard Counties of Maryland.

Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in the following areas:

site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies and grading plans

Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectives

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

+ Maryland and Northern Virginia jurisdictions and the District of Columbia

+ Drainage and Floodplain Studies

+ Site Grading

+ Storm Drain and Paving Plans

+ Stormwater Management Environmental Site Design

+ Water and Sewer Plans

+ AutoCAD

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required. E.I.T. preferred

+ Experience in Private Land Development preferred but not required

+ AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency required

+ Ability to work independently as well as in a group

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

+ Excellent Verbal and Written Communication

+ Local candidates preferred.
