Title: Voice Architect Location: Detroit, MI (Position is remote, but candidates must live in SE Michigan) Schedule: Mon Fri, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST Note: C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered The Voice Architect is responsible for the day-to-day operations for our client's voice network. Duties include managing the development of the department staff in areas such as support, process (ITIL and Change Controls), and software tools. The client's voice network consists of data center hosted applications, multiple advanced contact centers, and 30,000 voice terminals distributed over 70 networked locations across southeastern Michigan. The daily focus of the position includes supervision and support of department personal, as well as coordination with other IT departments of the client. This position requires an awareness of systems supported by the department, as well as current and future projects and how they will interface and impact the end client. Position Qualifications: 10 years of experience with Voice Mail and Unified Messaging systems, preferably Unify Xpressions software 5 years of experience with voice teams and solutions and complex, multi-site VoIP networks 5 years of experience in a multi-vendor voice and data environment consisting of hardware and software from Siemens/Unify, Cisco, and Avaya 5 years of experience supporting complex environments, using tools such as Orion Solar Winds, Oasis, Comview, and Impact Technologies for performance optimization and capacity planning 5 years of experience working with Spectralink, ASCOM, or a similar technology for wireless communications, preferably in a healthcare environment Strong experience managing the design, implementation, and support of advanced voice related systems Prior large project experience, with experience road mapping, including setting up and executing road maps for migrating voice infrastructure Experience merging systems and migrating data between systems Demonstratable mature and effective techniques in translating business requirements into technical solutions Strong understanding of process flows and implementation roll outs Well versed in the prioritization of tasks Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems within converged communications infrastructure Self-direction with the ability to adapt to sudden changes Ability to handle numerous projects simultaneously Ability to work quickly and efficiently under deadline pressure Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with leaders, users, and technical colleagues Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including strong conflict management skills Ability to communicate and influence business and technical staff Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with different organizations and teams A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management, or other related field, OR equivalent Healthcare IT Voice Network Management experience; ITIL Certification required; other relevant industry certifications, such as Unify or Siemens preferred Note: C2C and 3rd party candidates will NOT be considered
