Position Overview:

This position will be responsible for Quality Engineering on team. They will be working closely with stakeholders to identify gaps and will propose solutions for fixing the issues discovered. They will work closely with the development teams to ensure the new features being developed can be tested well.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated regression tests for new and existing functionality.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and strategies that meet functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform hands-on testing, including black-box, white-box, and grey-box testing, as well as application, usability, functional, regression, and performance testing in a client environment.
  • Develop and maintain flexible and maintainable automated test scripts for both front-end and back-end automation.
  • Identify, record, and document defects, and analyze recurring issues to recommend and implement solutions.
  • Participate in release planning and product roll-outs, and communicate product readiness, quality metrics, and results to the project team.
  • Continuously identify gaps in quality assurance processes and actively address them for ongoing improvement.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior Quality Engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in writing test suites using programming languages such as Java, Python, or TypeScript.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, BDD, Robot) for front-end and back-end systems.
  • Expertise with JUnit, Sprint Test, Lombok and AssertJ.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience integrating with CI/CD systems like CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD.
  • Strong experience with various testing techniques, including performance, unit, integration, and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in designing and executing test plans and utilizing software testing methodologies.
  • Expertise in API testing using tools such as Postman, Insomnia, Swagger.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and collaboration skills.
