Job Summary As a Developer Evangelist at Lytics, you'll be responsible for inspiring and empowering the developer community, partners, and customers around our platform and tools. This role involves creating technical content, delivering presentations, and engaging with developers to promote the adoption of our platform, with a strong emphasis on web-based personalization, ads, and analytics use cases facilitated by JavaScript and common CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress. You will act as the face of Lytics to the developer community, ensuring they have the resources, support, and knowledge they need to succeed. You will collaborate closely with the Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to shape our developer outreach strategy. This role requires you to stay ahead of the latest web development tools and trends and leverage that knowledge to drive excitement and engagement around our products. You’ll be a natural communicator, passionate about technology, and skilled in making complex topics accessible and engaging. Essential Functions Build and maintain relationships with developers, agency partners, and customers through our online community, social, forums, etc. Create technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and webinars, focusing on JavaScript, Drupal, WordPress, and other CMS technologies. Advocate for developers' needs internally, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure that our platform meets their expectations. Work directly with the product team to create SDKs, APIs, and developer tools that enhance the developer experience. Help build a presence in developer communities. Develop and manage a content strategy that educates developers and encourages them to build on our platform. Gather feedback from developers and turn insights into actionable recommendations for product improvements. Qualifications The ideal candidate would have the skills and expertise developed as a developer or digital strategist on the agency side. Extensive experience as a developer with a strong focus on JavaScript and web technologies such as Drupal, WordPress, Google Analytics, Google Ads, etc. Proven experience and passion in developer relations or developer advocacy roles. Strong understanding of API design, SDK development, and the overall developer experience. Experience presenting to technical and non-technical audiences in a compelling and engaging way. Experience creating developer-focused content, such as blogs, videos, tutorials, and technical documentation. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, accessible language. Familiarity with open-source ecosystems and developer communities. Experience managing projects using tools like GitHub. Skills Deep expertise in JavaScript, including popular frameworks like React. Strong experience with CMS platforms like Drupal and WordPress. Excellent presentation skills. Proficient in writing and maintaining technical documentation and developer guides. Skilled in design tools like Figma. Huge plus for experience with video editing software. Strong organizational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and content calendars.
