Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity? Cloud Cleaning is looking to hire an experienced and efficient Part Time Team Lead/Building Coach to supervise the work activities performed by our janitorial staff in small school in north Longview. The Building Coach's responsibilities include assigning tasks to the cleaning team, coaching and training staff members as needed, and cleaning alongside the team. The Building Coach also does a final walkthrough and inspection of the building at the end of each shift to ensure nothing was missed. To be successful as a janitorial supervisor, the candidate should demonstrate sound knowledge of various cleaning methods and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, an outstanding janitorial supervisor will display effective leadership skills to ensure the timely completion of staffs’ janitorial duties. This position is about 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday evenings. Shift start times vary based on school events and begin between 4:30 pm and 9 pm. Shift schedule is provided monthly.
Janitorial Supervisor Responsibilities:
Assigning janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspecting their work to ensure that established standards are met.
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed.
Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted.
Providing training and guidance to janitorial staff.
Attending meetings and in-service training sessions as required.
Performing all janitorial duties necessary in instances of staff shortages.
Janitorial Supervisor Requirements:
Working knowledge of various cleaning methods.
The ability to lift 25-50 pounds
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Excellent organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
