Grateful.4)Trustworthy Can be relied upon.Seeks truth and fairness.Does not cut corners.Does what is right.Speaks plainly and truthfully.5)Ownership Accountable.Never looking to shift blame.Takes responsibility.Unwavering commitment.Focuses on solutions rather than problems.6)Results Stands by facts not theories.Keenly interested in the outcome.Uses past results to improve future outcomes.7)Excellence Desires to perform at a high level and to improve processes.Committed to personal and professional growth.Job Responsibilities:1)Continuously improve estimating process and systems2)Maintain current database of subs, vendors, common materials, and pricing3)Collaborate with operations team to grow our subcontractor base4)Attend weekly estimating meetings with management to discuss upcoming bids and previously submitted proposals5)Attend pre-bid meetings and gather necessary information required to develop a cost estimate and proposal6)Communicate with association managers and or engineers to clarify the scope of work to be priced7)Perform quantity takeoffs utilizing clear and consistent spreadsheets8)Obtain multiple material, equipment and subcontractor quotes in an effort to find the best value for the best price9)Assemble project cost estimates utilizing estimating spreadsheet templates10)Input project specific production rates and crew sizes into the estimate and check them against rates and unit costs from previous estimates and completed projects11)Write cover letters and assemble proposal presentations based on scope of work, client relationships and project specific requirements12)Submit proposals based on the bid requirement or owner request and follow up promptly to ensure the correct scope has been priced and all questions are answered13)Attend association board meetings as necessary to present proposals and clearly explain work scopes in an effort to sell projects14)Manage time and communicate workloads with Precon Manager to ensure deadlines are met15)Collaborate with project managers, project admin, owners, subcontractors, and consultants to organize and execute project administrative documents as directed#J-18808-Ljbffr
