**Position Summary:**

The Truck Driver will safely and efficiently deliver finished goods, products, and materials to customers in a safe, timely and professional manner.

****Essential Duties and Job /Responsibilitie**s:**

Operating a Flatbed Truck with Knuckle Boom according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.

Transporting loads safely and in a timely manner over required route and obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.

Deftly maneuvering truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas to include following loading crew signals.

Assisting with loading or unloading of goods and materials that may require using specialized equipment

Unloading empty skids and returning all equipment to designated area.

Maintaining signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork

Delivering documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete.

Facilitating routine service on trucks, which may include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; reports maintenance malfunctions to Shipping Supervisor.

Arranging trailers in shipping yards for optimum loading patterns.

Performing other related duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

****Job Qualifications and Requirements****

Must be at least 18 years or older

High School Diploma or GED

Must hold required Commercial B Drivers with Air license appropriate for operating vehicle weight

Must pass all pre-employment background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department of transportation regulations

Must have a good driving record

**Job Skills Competencies:**

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points.

Ability to remain focused in busy environment.

Ability to meet deadlines

****Physical Requirements:****

Prolonged periods sitting in a truck for long periods of time.

Must be able to use equipment necessary for loading and unloading product, such as knuckle booms, dollies and truck lifts

Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.

Must be able to travel frequently.

Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, lift and squat
