Job Description: As the Sr. Manager, Product Management, Point of Sale, you will lead the Point-of-Sale strategy, development, and implementation in all markets. You will create omni experiences that enhance customer engagement, associate enablement, and operational efficiency. You will work cross-functionally with our iconic brands of ***, Old Navy, Banana Republic, and Athleta while partnering with engineering, store operations, and analytics teams to identify opportunities, define product roadmaps to positively impact the customer experience. The role requires a strong product mindset, combination of business savvy, customer centricity and technical knowledge. Define the product roadmap by working with your product management counterparts and leaders to identify and drive forward new capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with large software engineering teams both within and outside of your domain. Implemented vendor software and developed strong vendor partnerships. Passion for retail innovation and emerging technologies. Write robust requirements, prioritize the backlog, and work closely with the engineering teams to deliver and test quality software. Develop and manage project plans and key stakeholder engagement strategy on all initiatives. Build relationships with key business partners and other brand stakeholders; articulates product needs clearly and succinctly to different audiences and cross functional partners. Develop in-depth knowledge of industry trends and standards to introduce the continual process, tool and methodology improvements. Identify, measure, and interpret results to validate product strategy; Provide research, analysis, and support for identifying, evaluating, and resolving strategic opportunities Influence strategy for area/team Additional Description: Experience in designing, developing and implementing point of sale platforms, APIs, and/or complex customer capabilities. Demonstrate technical acumen; ability to influence and debate solutions with technical team members, to understand technology solutions and potential tradeoffs and to represent technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. Ability to assess relatively complex situations and analyze data to make judgments and recommend solutions. Sound knowledge of concepts and procedures specific to own subject area and a basic understanding of the procedures in other relevant areas.
