Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Assess and treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor trauma in collaboration with a physician. * Manage chronic illness care in partnership with physicians. * Diagnose and treat a wide range of healthcare issues. * Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and medication use. * Maintain accurate and confidential medical records. * Conduct Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations. * Order and interpret diagnostic tests. * Prescribe medications within your scope of practice. * Promote preventive and health maintenance care through patient education and counseling. * Stay current with medical advancements and integrate new knowledge into practice. Qualifications: * Licensure: Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) or Physician Assistant (PANCE). * Experience: Minimum of 2 years in primary or urgent care. * Skills: Proficient in using EMR systems, flexible with weekends and holidays, excellent communication skills, and a positive, patient-first attitude.
