Work Model:

Hybrid 3 days per week at our Madison, WI headquarters
The Financial Accountant position is responsible for utilizing hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices to perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses.
Supports month-end close process, ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all month-end processing necessary to complete the monthly close process. Review journal entries, income statement scrubs, and reconciliations. Maintain General Ledger system and make necessary updates to GL accounts and reports as needed.
Assist with tax reporting elements. Coordinate with designated tax return preparer and assist with income tax research. Review use tax return preparation for accuracy and completeness.
Review quarterly Call Report filings, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Perform necessary research related to Call Report filings.
Manage time in a fast-paced environment to guarantee that tasks are completed accurately while ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met timely.
Train and act as a mentor to less experienced Financial Accountants, as well as delegate tasks as deemed appropriate.
Successful Candidates Will Have
4 year Accounting degree from an accredited institution required
3-4 years prior relevant experience
Individual should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Individual must be able to multi-task.
Ability to collaborate and work effectively and diplomatically across functions
Prologue and Blackline experience preferred but not required
