As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Warehouse Clerk to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administrations (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).

This position is contingent on contract award.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibilities of the Logistics Warehouse Clerk will include, but are not limited to:

  • Fulfilling material service requests (MSRs)

  • Performing verification of accuracy of items and quantities on MSRs pulled by other Logistics personnel

  • Unload trucks with forklifts and verify materials received are undamaged and in compliance with packing list and freight bills

  • Assist Logistics Warehouse Specialist by filling out all applicable receiving paperwork

  • Stocking new or returned inventory and rotating older inventory while ensuring what is in stock matches system quantities and locations are correct

  • Perform physical cycle counts as assigned to verify system inventory accuracy

  • Drop off / pick up of NDBCs fleet of leased vehicles for preventative maintenance services

  • Provide local receiving and delivery services for all new items delivered to NDBC

  • Stage, load, and deliver excessed items to NASA Redistribution or SSC Landfill

  • Ensuring the warehouse is always safe, clean and organized

  • Daily mail pickup/deliveries



Qualifications:

Requirements of the Logistics Warehouse Clerk:

  • High School Diploma
  • 8 years of relevant experience preferred
  • Have/Obtain Forklift Operator Certification
  • Have/Maintain a Valid Drivers License
