The Implementation Specialist is responsible for helping clients understand and use company software efficiently. The Implementation Specialist participates in presale product demonstrations, client needs analysis, and participates in crafting and executing new and existing deployments. The software implementation specialist is responsible for performing configuration, and usability tests on newly created software/environments to guarantee that clients who use the program can do so effectively. They function by interfacing directly with clients to understand their needs and configure the software to meet them, and also educate them on how to use the deployed program.Responsibilities IncludeSupport external clients and colleagues in the implementation of technical systems and software solutionsAssess clients/user needs and develop an accurate configuration that supports their business processesResponsible for defining and executing the delivery and implementation plansResponsible for performing tests and troubleshoots final system setupsRequired to provide training and end-user support during and after the implementation processAssist in executing pre-sales product demonstrations, provide assistance in scoping projects, and developing proposalsResponsible for identifying and configuring the software for client implementationsAvailable for Onsite projects to work alongside Project Managers, Sales consultants, and clientsUtilize SQL to query databases for troubleshooting testing scenariosRequirements Include 2+ years of experience andStrong internal and client-facing communication skills and service orientation to handle tasks successfullySound technical knowledgeProficiency in all Microsoft Office applications Familiar with writing SQL queriesThe ability to multitask effectivelyThe ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsExceptional communication and customer service skillsDetail-orientedPlusesExperience with using scheduling, payroll, billing, or financial systemsBS or BA degree in computer science, engineering, computer information science, information technology, or a related field
