Job Description
At Bridger Photonics, Inc. (Bridger) we create and deploy innovative LiDAR sensors and analytics to enable clean, safe, and streamlined oil & gas operations by providing actionable data for methane emissions reduction.

Bridger has established a strong competitive advantage through its industry-leading emissions monitoring solution, which has created increasingly numerous research project opportunities. We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to streamline research efforts. This role will be responsible for administering the entire research project life cycle. An emphasis will be placed on coordinating the efforts of interfacing teams, including R&D, operations, finance, and administration. Research projects will encompass both projects to characterize LiDAR technology performance and applications of technology towards empirically characterizing emissions throughout all segments of the oil and gas industry.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the planning, execution, and monitoring of multiple research projects, ensuring adherence to project goals, objectives, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Interface with internal and external departments to schedule resource deployment.
  • Oversee project resource tracking, including time keeping.
  • Facilitate project invoicing.
  • Plan and schedule internal and external project meetings.
  • Take notes during project meetings and ensure execution of meeting action items.
  • Collaborate with internal administration on travel logistics.
  • Provide regular internal updates on project research status and financial status.
  • Maintain and promote relationships with research institutes and industry collaborators.
  • Provide escalation point for research and business interests.
Requirements

Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree- technical degree (STEM)
  • At least 3+ years of project management experience
  • Technical expertise, analytical and detail oriented.
  • Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong ability/interest in making connections and building collaborations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated projects and execute within a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to engage with multiple departments and levels of external organizations including R&D, operations, financial administration, and management.
  • Ability to work cohesively with the research team and interfacing departments.
  • Demonstrated problem solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience managing research projects.
  • Experience managing government grants or contracts.
  • Technical writing experience (grant writing, research articles, reports, research reviews).
  • Management experience.
  • Operations experience.
  • Account management/customer success experience.
  • Technical, research, or other relevant experience.
Additional Information:
  • This is a full-time position.
  • Compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and skills.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
  • This position is based in Bozeman Montana and is not a remote work position.
