Magnify is seeking an experienced, driven and personable Supply Chain Analyst for our client in Richmond, VA.

Primary objectives will focus around forecasting & procurement and inventory planning. The ideal candidate would be a self-motivated, creative type. Candidates who have recently graduated in a Supply Chain program or a non-degreed professional who worked their way through a warehouse environment into supply chain would be IDEAL

Important notes:

  • Experience with supply chain planning systems is a must
  • This position would be HYBRID 3in/2out
  • Hands-on experience with Supply Chain Planning tools similar to Blue Ridge, Oracle, Logility, or JDA is preferred

Day in the Life:

  • This position will spend most of the day analyzing sales and inventory data. Communicating between suppliers and the internal brand management team effectively.
  • Will utilize forecasted sales and orders from vendors in order to determine the number of product to order.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support and back up the Brand Managers daily to ensure marketing research and strategies are being implemented appropriately
  • Ensure pertinent information is entered into database and reported in a timely manner
  • Responsible for forecasting, assisting in setting appropriate inventory levels for products to ensure inventory is sold efficiently
  • Research and identify trends and other data which relevant to efficient turnover of products
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure product is competitively priced, marketed, and being sold most effectively

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree highly preferred, but not a must - Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related
  • Recent Graduates are HIGHLY encouraged to apply
  • 1 - 2+ years industry experience (specifically Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with Supply Chain Planning tools
  • Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and acute attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively within a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Strong mathematical skillset and comprehension of concepts such as probability and statistics
  • Adept in data analysis and forecasting
