LOGIN HR Recruiter (Home Care) New York Health Care DESCRIPTION New York Health Care, Inc. a licensed home care agency now in our 37th year of operation is seeking an experienced Home Care Recruiter for our Patchogue office in Suffolk County.

This is a full time Monday Friday position with limited weekend assignments on an as needed basis. This position will include both in-office and field duties.

Job functions to include:

* Recruit HHAs (home health aides) and PCAs (personal care aides) throughout Suffolk and Eastern Nassau Counties

* Prepare advertisements and job postings

* Attend job fairs and present employment opportunities to the general population

* Maintain personnel files in compliance with NYS DOH regulations

* Perform all functions related to the hiring process from interview up to and including orientation

* Build and maintain relationships within the community to develop referral sources

Requirements:

* Reliable transportation to cover field appointments and visits throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties

* Excellent written, communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work independently; detail oriented with ability to prioritize and follow up

* Able and willing to cover if necessary other offices

* Previous health care experience; preferably HR, compliance or recruiting

* Knowledge of NYS DOH personnel hiring requirements

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

* High School Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge of HHA exchange software system

* Previous home care recruiting/marketer experience

* Knowledge and proven record on relationships with referral sources such as training schools

* Bilingual Enlgish/Spanish

Compensation:
