**Meaningful Work From Day One:**

The Bar Lead at Old Forester Distilling Co. is responsible for the day-to-day

supervision of Georges Bar, located inside the distillery. Bar Lead will be part of the Old Forester Distilling Co. homeplace team and reports directly to the Old Forester Distillery Bar Manager.

**What You Can Expect:**

? Assist in the creation and training of the cocktail menu, providing a unique and fresh selection of cocktail and menu ideas.

? Train staff to provide excellent service to patrons and maintain a hospitality-first mindset

? Responsible for ensuring the atmosphere in Georges Bar is aligned with homeplace and brand aesthetic; setting a consistent tone across homeplace functional areas in both musical choice and lighting settings.

? Enforce quality and safety controls with OFD policies, including B-F Responsibility initiatives, partnering with Bar Manager and Safety Manager as needed.

? Work with the Bar Manager to successfully complete inventory monthly.

? Create and maintain SOP for daily operation in Georges Bar.

? Provide educational training on Old Forester products and brand training.

? Assist with the setup and the breakdown of the bar and cash drawer.

? Plan and execute promotional events and support the overall Old Forester Distillery Experience as needed; including after-hours events.

? Maintain product prep pars.

? Assist with par levels and daily ordering.

? Serve as onsite Bar lead when the Bar Manager is not available.

**What You Bring to the Table:**

? High School Diploma or GED.

? Must be at least 21 years of age.

? Restaurant, bar or management experience, specifically in cocktail and menu creation

? Ability to drive innovation and creativity

? Proficient in computer, problem-solving, and customer service skills.

? Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and professionalism.

? Ability to diffuse tense situations and resolve conflicts.

? Willingness to work during peak hours, including weekends and some evenings and holidays.

? Ability to walk, stand, and occasionally carry heavy items in a fast-paced, stressful Environment and have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

**What Makes You Unique:**

? Strong understanding of B-F culture and the Old Forester Brand.

? External whiskey certifications (Stave & Thief, CSS, etc).

? Demonstrated knowledge of the history of Old Forester Distilling Co. and the family of

products produced.

? Demonstrated knowledge of the distillery process operation; maturation procedures and

a complete understanding of the entire process of making and aging Old Forester.

**The Hourly rate for this position will be $20.00 per hour**
