Retail Salesperson

Our client is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join their luxury fabric and upholstery store team in the Lakewood, NJ area

This individual will play a key role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will assist with various tasks on the sales floor, including maintaining displays, organizing merchandise, providing customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome all customers while setting a good first impression for every guest upon entering the store.
• Assist customers in locating fabrics, supplies, and accessories, answering questions, and providing product recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and shelves are well-stocked.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, contribute to a positive work environment, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Remain knowledgeable on products/materials in store, providing recommendations on products.
• Directing customers by escorting them to racks and counters.
• Interacting with customers, while maintaining a friendly customer service attitude.

Qualifications:

• Retail/customer service experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build rapport with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Basic mathematics.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude
