Full Time Description/Notes:

Provide leadership in developing and implementing the district's bilingual, dual language, and ESL programs. Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to ensure educational opportunities for bilingual students. Provide staff development for teachers of English Learners. Evaluate bilingual/ESL program implementation and monitor effective instructional strategies based on best practices. Qualifications:

Education/Certification: Bachelor's degree Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsement in bilingual education

Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Knowledge of strategies and materials for the education of bilingual students Ability to interpret data Ability to communicate effectively with bilingual parents and students Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Knowledge of the Gomez and Gomez Dual Language Model Demonstrated supervisory experiences and leadership abilities

Experience Three years experience as a bilingual teacher, preferred Two years of instructional leadership experience, preferred Salary Range:
