Job Summary:
Position primarily responsible for processing warranty service and parts claims, maintaining warranty schedules and expediting warranty credits due.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintain working relationship with Freightliner and vendor representatives.
- Maintain appropriate department correspondence and files.
- Review warranty repair orders, determine standard repair times to be charged and resolve discrepancies' with the assistance of Shop Foremen and Service Manager.
- Maintain Warranty schedules so all claims are paid within Company guidelines of invoice closing, update Service Manager, Service Director and Chief Financial Officer on any and all outstanding claims weekly.
- Compliance with Warranty Process procedures for Service, Parts and Accounting.
- Maintain warranty parts holding area (keep neat and organized).
- Process weekly warranty parts returns and warranty scrap reports and forward to the parts shipper and receiver for processing.
- A high school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in the following computer software systems: Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Computer, telephone and basic office equipment (copier, calculator, fax, etc.)
- Primarily a climate controlled office environment
**Must pass background & criminal records check, physical exam and drug screen.
