**DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION**

The in Waterloo, Iowa, is an association of local governments that is committed to identifying, securing, and coordinating local, regional, and federal government projects and programs for the enhancement of our region and member communities.

The Director of Transportation oversees the administration and supervision of INRCOGs Transportation Programs include the Metropolitan Planning Organization, the Iowa Northland Regional Transportation Authority, Safe Routes to School program, and OnBoard Public Transit, a service of the Iowa Northland Regional Transit Commission and INRCOG.

Education/Work Experience: Bachelors degree in Planning, Business Administration/Management, or Public Administration with an emphasis on Transportation planning or related field preferred. Five years of metropolitan and/or regional transportation planning and/or transit operations/planning experience. Experience should include at least one year of supervisory duties.
