INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGY OPPORTUNITY - MEMPHIS, TENNESSEETHE OPPORTUNITYJoin an established cardiovascular program at a respected health system in Memphis. This employed interventional cardiology position offers excellent case volume, modern cardiac catheterization labs, and the opportunity to practice the full spectrum of interventional procedures.CLINICAL PRACTICE- Comprehensive interventional cardiology practice- State-of-the-art cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms- Annual procedural volume: 800+ cases per interventionalist- PCI, peripheral vascular interventions, structural heart- Strong STEMI program with door-to-balloon excellence- Hybrid OR capabilities for complex casesPROCEDURAL MIX- Coronary angiography and PCI (complex and CTO)- Peripheral vascular interventions- TAVR program (or opportunity to develop)- Left atrial appendage closure- PFO/ASD closure- Mechanical circulatory support (Impella, IABP)CLINICAL CARDIOLOGY- Outpatient cardiology clinic- Hospital consultations and inpatient management- Stress testing and nuclear cardiology- Collaboration with electrophysiology and heart failure- Cardiac rehabilitation program involvementTEAM & SUPPORT- Join established group of interventional cardiologists- Dedicated cath lab nurses and cardiovascular techs- Cardiology PAs/NPs for clinic and hospital support- Strong non-invasive cardiology collaboration- CV surgery backup availableCALL & SCHEDULE- Shared interventional call rotation- STEMI call participation- Monday-Friday clinic and procedure schedule- Reasonable weekend call expectations- Protected time for proceduresCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS- Highly competitive interventional cardiology salary- Procedural productivity bonus- Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance- Comprehensive benefits package- 403(b) retirement with employer match- CME allowance: $5,000+ annually- Malpractice coverage with tail includedMEMPHIS, TENNESSEEMemphis offers no state income tax, affordable housing, and rich cultural heritage.
