We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our Coon Valley team. This position produces components by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines, meeting ATIs high safety and quality standards and maintaining equipment and supplies. A successful CNC machinist is safety-focused, a problem solver and understands the importance of precision and quality.
Our Coon Valley location plays a vital role in ATIs Forged Products division by producing aerospace, jet engine and military components that meet the quality, reliability and safety standards of ATI and our customers.
**The person in this position will work the Day Shift on Weekends: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5am-5pm. Training will be conducted on the weekend.**
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
+ Raw material incoming visual inspection
+ Performing manufacturing operations on CNC lathes
+ Machining parts to meet tolerances for final inspection.
+ Inspecting and cleaning the finished product at the end of the production cycle
+ Product final inspection
+ Working closely with manufacturing leadership and fellow team members to achieve shared goals.
+ Perform preventative maintenance tasks.
+ Accurate completion of required documentation.
**Required**
+ High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
**Preferred**
+ Machining certificate or prior CNC machining experience preferred but will train a motivated entry-level candidate.

**ATI offers a strong benefits package that includes medical/dental/vision (and more), and eligibility begins on the 1st of the month following the date of hire, 401(k) with a generous employer contribution and match, 3 weeks of paid time off annually (includes vacation, personal and sick time) + 11 paid holidays annually.** **This position qualifies for a $2,000 new hire bonus paid in 2 increments as follows: $1,000 paid after 60 days of employment and $1,000 paid after 120 days of employment.**
