Responsibilities:

  • Lead comprehensive analysis to optimize transmission networks for efficient power transmission, collaborating with colleagues in our Indianapolis office.
  • Contribute your expertise to the design of transmission infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance while working closely with our diverse team.
  • Utilize cutting-edge modeling and simulations to evaluate transmission system performance under diverse scenarios, leveraging resources available at our Indianapolis location.
  • Drive the development of strategic plans for upgrades and expansions to meet future demand, capitalizing on the collaborative environment of our firm.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams from various locations to integrate renewable energy sources into the transmission network, utilizing our firm's interconnected network.
  • Provide top-tier technical support to address transmission system challenges, fostering collaboration and leveraging the expertise of our Indianapolis-based team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • Prior experience in transmission planning within the power industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with transmission system analysis and modeling software is a plus.
  • Strong analytical prowess and problem-solving skills to tackle challenges effectively within a collaborative environment.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards in transmission planning is advantageous.
