Position Purpose and Objectives

Acts and performs duties of receptionist for Fairlease and Credit Union of Texas. This position has constant interaction with members and therefore, must have a friendly, professional demeanor and strong customer service skills. The right candidate must be comfortable communicating with people face to face and able to multi-task while providing a warm, welcoming atmosphere for those entering our establishment.

Major Duties and Essential Functions

  1. Professional telephone and reception area skills a must
  2. Able to handle multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment.
  3. Responsible for loading and assigning phone and email lease leads in Salesforce and forwarding to the appropriate consultant.
  4. Responsible for providing telephone member service by answering lessee questions, providing lease documents when requested by member, processing payment waivers when appropriate, and providing accurate lease payoff information when requested.
  5. Responsible for auditing lease documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.
  6. Assist Lease Assistants by obtaining information needed to verify the identity of applicants and helping validate trade-in information disclosed on lease agreements.
  7. Works out of state move requests by mailing POA/title and any other state specific documents required.Update address in ALS and adjust payment appropriately.
  8. Responsible for processing and sorting mail on daily basis.
  9. Responsible for updating miscellaneous lessee information in our core system.
  10. Responsible for processing tolls/red light/parking violations on weekly rotation basis by completing and forwarding documentation to have violations reassigned when possible
  11. Responsible for assisting in other areas within the department when necessary.
  12. Responsible for processing payoff checks when needed.
  13. Will help with other areas within Fairlease and Credit Union of Texas when needed.

  • Must have strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with courteous and correct grammar usage.
  • Must feel comfortable relating to individuals on every level including senior executive level.
  • Professional telephone and reception area skills are a must.
  • Front office professionalism and appearance; social skills and positive image.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and/or demanding customers in a professional, assertive and friendly manner.
  • Requires organizational abilities and attention to detail to effectively assign and distribute lease leads.
  • Should be competent in basic arithmetic skills, such as percentages and interest calculations
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office and common database applications.


Education:High school graduate, G.E.D., or equivalent required.

Experience:One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
