BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an Intake Specialist to join our outstanding and compassionate team

Intake Specialist Responsibilities

• Provides emergency psychiatric evaluations for all persons of all ages in the Hospital's Emergency Center.
• Handles all requests for all psychiatric services from other agencies, individuals or other departments.
• Maintains statistics related to Intake Services.
• Provides clinical reviews for managed care organizations when not involved with E.C. responsibilities.
• Provides basic psychiatric care to adult and geriatric patients on Inpatient psychiatric units.

Requirements:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• High School or Equivalent
• Preferred - Bachelors Healthcare/Psychology

Required Experience:

• 1 year - Psychology
• Preferred - 3 Years Psychology

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No

Shift Hours: 6:45PM-7:15AM

Shift: Shift 3

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
