For a better tomorrow, we play today.Position SummaryThe essence of this role is to provide a premier experience for our reps, customers and carriers by coordinating and expediting the movement of outgoing freight and assuring on-time delivery.Duties and Responsibilities:Provides a premier experience for the rep, customer and carrier every time.Coordinates and expedite the movement of outgoing freight shipments to customers. Assure that all customer orders are properly shipped in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements.Determines shipping methods, using knowledge of shipping procedures, carrier services, transit times, customer requirements and competitive rates.Coordinate carriers to schedule deliveries of shipments.Performs data entry to input job specific information in applicable systems.Assists with tracking and expediting freight, including the tracking of overseas shipments.Creates bills of lading.Assists with freight quotes by determining shipping costs and rates.Looks for creative ways for moving freight.Makes recommendations to Logistics Manager as needed for carriers, routings, and pricing.Attributes:Able to build and maintain relationships with reps, carriers, customers and internal staffAttention to detail and solid organizational skillsAble to multi-task and smoothly juggle prioritiesAdept at problem solvingStrong customer service skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsIndependent, dependable, resourceful and self motivatedPremier phone skillsQualifications:High school diploma or GED required; Associated degree preferred.Must have 4+ years of experience, including road, water and air transportation- domestic and internationalManufacturing background preferredExperience with international shipping a plus, as well as experience dealing with customsHaz Mat Certification a plusAble to maintain a reliable and consistent attendance recordExperience with Microsoft OfficeCOME AS YOU AREWe welcome anyone with tattoos, piercings, and/or dyed hair.Landscape Structures is an Equal Opportunity Employer#vetfriendly#J-18808-Ljbffr
