Requirements

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines and ETL processes within the Microsoft Fabric for Digital environment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
Optimize data architecture and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Develop and maintain documentation related to data models, schemas, and data flows.
Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance and support.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in data engineering.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable data solutions.
5+ years of experience in designing and building data pipelines on Azure using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
Solid understanding of Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric.
Strong data warehousing and data modelling concepts, including Kimbell, Inmon, DataVault methodology understanding.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, DAX and other relevant programming languages and tools.
Experience on dbt, Snowflake or PowerBI will be added advantage.
Azure certifications will be desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
