OVP is seeking a Full-Time MD/DO for a Nocturnist/Hospitalist position w/an open ICU.

Job Description:

  • This is a nocturnist position w/an open ICU
  • Procedures include central line placement, ventilation management, and code blue
  • Daily census- 20-25 daily per team
  • Nightly admissions- Low night admissions
  • Physician shifts- 7a-7p (2 physicians) and 7p-7a (1 physician)
    • *Daily encounters 10-15
  • 21 beds - Number of ICU beds- 8 (OPEN ICU)
  • Rounds to start shift
  • EMR EPIC
  • Annual Volume 30K
  • Specialty Coverages- cardiologist, neurologist, OB, Pulmonology
  • They have 31 med surg beds/private rooms. They can double up if needed.
  • The program offers outstanding specialty support along with a "Team" like approach with the ER.
  • The practice enjoys the benefits of designated rounding and admitting function providers, along with PA and NP support.
Compensation and Benefits:

They may be contracted as W2 w/benefits or 1099 independent contractor w/ guaranteed shifts:
  • 1099- BR50/shift x 182 shifts = BR,100/yr
  • W2- BR930/shift x 182 shifts = BR,200/yr

Requirement description :
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
  • OH License (in hand or in process) - REQUIRED
  • Procedures: central line placement, ventilation management, and code blue - PREFERRED (note experience with presentation)
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination Status - REQUIRED
  • Permanent Placement Fee - REQUIRED at name clear
