Job Description
Commercial Banker

RESPONSIBILITIES
•Calling on, identifying and developing relationships with clients should be the first priority and encompass up to 80% of their workload, with the goal of managing their commercial lending needs and creating long-term client relationships for the Bank.
•Ensure minimum lending production standards are being met or exceeded per the expectations of the Bank's policies and production goals.
•Prepare Pre-Flight Memos and obtain borrower financials in partnership with Portfolio Managers and Credit Analysts.
•Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and Credit Administrators to ensure a best-in-class Commercial Lending and Closing process for our clients.
•Oversee the financial activities of all clients, proactively advising and consulting on the Bank's products and services in partnership with the Treasury Management.
•Closely monitor the performance of individual portfolio, ensuring that credits are both meeting client's needs and remaining profitable for the Bank.
•Assist Portfolio Managers with third and subsequent documentation request from clients.
•Remain well informed of market conditions and conduct research to determine opportunities to meet revenue goals.
•Stay current with market updates and financial news.
•Comply with and maintain knowledge of appropriate legislation and regulations affecting banking and customer interaction to ensure that all transactions are legal.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's Degree required.
•7+ years of sales and client management experience with extensive knowledge of Commercial Banking and Lending products.
•Experience in understanding the financial needs of commercial clients.
•Exceptional business development and marketing skills.
•Knowledge of financial statements and credit policies preferred.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
•Strong organizational time management skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly grasp concepts and processes with limited guidance from management.
•Must be able to work in a team environment with the ability to interact well, and in a positive manner, with co[1]workers and managemen
