Role Overview:
Genus PLC has an exciting opportunity.

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to partner, support and provide guidance to the ABS Global Supply Chain leadership team. The position is located in our Deforest office and hybrid work is an option. The Senior Financial Analyst has primary accountability for monthly financial and metric reporting, quarterly forecasting, ad hoc analysis as well as ownership and facilitation of the budget processes and strategic plan.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide business partnering and leadership in support of strategic initiatives to include, but not limited to:
Provide financial insight to operational change.
Analyze capital investments for accuracy, cost efficiencies, pay-back period, cash flow forecasting and accuracy.
Demonstrate a willingness to participate in projects and supplemental analysis in support of overall supply chain objectives.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, and continuous improvement.
Review and establish standard cost of inventory and production variances.

To maintain accounting controls to ensure the integrity of the financial reporting and protect company assets; of significance are Inventory and Capital Assets.
Follow and recommend control processes designed to manage company assets.
Recommend process and policy changes for increased efficiencies and controls.
Review and establish standard cost of inventory.
Ensure inventory is sufficiently provisioned.
To provide management with timely, accurate and useful information to help manage the organization.
Financial and Operational review and reporting are completed accurately, within specified deadlines, and with minimal direct supervision.
Work directly with the Global Supply Chain management team and Country specific accounting teams to prepare and analyze the budget and quarterly forecasts.
Lead and coordinate the completion of quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and Strategy Planning
Participate with Global Supply Chain management during Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Budget reviews.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, Economics - MBA, CPA preferred.
Minimum 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Cognos TM1, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics a plus
Working knowledge of ERP systems
Ability to work as a lead member of a team; thorough understanding of accounting theory and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proven experience related to the collection, assimilation and presentation of data used to evaluate and explain business models, solutions.
Business partner to supporting functional areas.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
