About the EmployerNovato Unified School District (NUSD) has 700+ staff members who, along with the larger school community, are responsible for the education of over 7,500 students. We have eight elementary schools, including one dual-immersion, one K-8 school, two middle schools, and two comprehensive high schools. This 40 hrs./wk. position offers Kaiser, Delta Dental/Vision Services Plan, California Public Retirement System (CalPERS), paid sick leave, vacation and 15 paid holidays. This is a day time Custodian II Position. Novato is a suburb located in north Marin County, with a population of approximately 53,000. We are a close-knit community, with a number of our population being lifelong citizens. Many of our NUSD parents attended Novato schools themselves. Our community is known for its more than 3,600 acres of open space, which include a number of popular hiking and biking trails.
