Elliot Construction Company, Inc. is looking for an experienced Contracts Specialist to join our growing Contract Administration team. You will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and managing contracts, as well as preparing comprehensive bid responses for our clients. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, legal experts, and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of contracts and the success of our projects. By joining the Contract Administration team, you will have the unique opportunity to become involved in each business operation within the company and working with a large and diverse group of people.Key ResponsibilitiesContract Creation and Review:Draft and review a wide range of contracts, including but not limited to, vendor agreements, service contracts, and subcontractor agreements.Ensure that all contracts align with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex contractual issues and negotiate terms as necessary.Bid Response Preparation:Analyze and understand client RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and bids to identify requirements and constraints.Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and data for bid responses.Contract Management:Maintain an organized contract database, ensuring that all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.Monitor contract timelines, track key dates, and proactively identify and address renewal cycles.Collaborate with stakeholders to make necessary modifications to contracts during their lifecycle.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related fieldProven experience in contract management, contract negotiation, or a related roleExceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbilities to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screeningToday, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
