Essential Functions Oversees the operations of the Accounting/Finance Department including financial statement preparation, maintenance and accuracy of the general ledger, internal audit and SOX control, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, and budget preparation Implements and adheres to regulatory, GAAP, and other changes that affect the accounting cycle and provides timely and effective service to both internal and external customers Ensures compliance with company financial and accounting policies and procedures and also ensures internal controls are effective in both design and operation, including the routine monitoring of controls Ensures the monthly close deadlines are timely met, account reconciliation and supporting documentation is maintained for all activities, account analysis is performed, prepares various packages as requested (e.g., cost report, tax, etc.), and assists in various projects as requested Assists with the identification and independent assessment of financial risk, establishment, and monitoring of mitigation plans, and with the communication of financial risk and opportunity to the regional CFO and hospital CEO Assists with the monitoring of the financial performance and the maintenance of reasonable and appropriate financial plans and forecasts Benefits - Wide range of benefits options Here at Frye,
