What You'll Do

As a Mechanical Project Engineer at Park Industries, you will embark on a journey filled with innovation, creativity, and technical expertise. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Spearheading all technical aspects of projects and collaborating with diverse teams to craft designs that not only meet but exceed customer needs to continue setting our products apart in the market.
  • Taking the helm in mechanical design and analysis, delving into intricate details of machine structures, gearboxes, rails, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics to engineer solutions that push the boundaries of innovation.
  • Navigating project schedules, product costs, budgets, and other vital metrics with finesse, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals and objectives.
  • Fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation through thoughtfully curated concept and design reviews, welcoming input from all stakeholders to fuel our collective creativity.
  • Serving as a beacon of support and knowledge, providing training and assistance to customer service, field installation, and sales teams, and swiftly resolving any customer issues that arise.
As a Mechanical Project Engineer at Park Industries, you'll maintain standard business hours from Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to balance remote work with onsite presence at our office in St. Cloud, MN. This flexible setup ensures you have the freedom to work where you're most productive while staying connected with our dynamic team.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in our Mechanical Project Engineer role, you will need the following:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required, a Master's Degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in design and engineering is required, with at least 2 years in project leadership roles.
  • Proficiency in analysis and root cause investigation tools, including simulations, FEA, free-body diagrams, DFMEA, and 8D methodologies, is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in CNC or robotic equipment design, is preferred.
