Role: Senior Principal Consultant-Datawarehouse Finance

Location: New York City, NY ( 3 days onsite and 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Credit Risk and commercial banking
  • Understanding of RWA, BASEL 2/3 and credit risk calculation for corporate clients
  • Should have Oracle PL SQL experience
  • Experience on Unix and shell scripting, Batch Jobs (Control M) and Data Base Performance
  • Hands on database experience and the ability to design and compose high level SQL Queries
  • Should have development experience with proven commitment to best practices (coding, testing, documentation)
  • Risk identification and mitigation planning along with issue resolution
  • ble to handle cross functional applications with multiple upstream and downstream
  • bility to review technical and functional documents and drive to quality standards
  • bility to manage multiple concurrent requests, projects, problems
  • Knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • pplication Production Support experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience working to meet SLAs and Service Level Management
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Should have experience in project management and delivery

Management:
  • Create and/or review estimations for projects and work closely with the PM to ensure project milestones are resourced and are met while ensuring adherence to the clients SPLC.
  • Manage and coordinate with track leads for defined SLA KPI and procure the report. Coordinate with client for approvals
  • Ensure the standard and regulatory control are met in defined timelines with evidences
  • Manage and present P1 P2 incident reports (IR) to stakeholders and ensure the closure of same in the system
  • Ensure the knowledge management documents of CBTS are updated and reviewed by domain managers
  • Statutory and regulatory activities like BCP (DR), reconstruction are planned and executed as per guidelines
  • Track the timesheets of team members
  • Interacts with both onsite and offshore senior and junior resources to ensure on-time, quality deliverables
  • Provide status reporting of team activities against plan or schedule, ensure task accomplishments are communicated along with any risks, issues and statuses.
  • Manage tracks like DWH, Reporting, Risk and Finance
Minimum qualifications:
  • Graduate or post graduate in Engineering or Technology with Computers or IT stream or Graduate or post graduate in any stream with course in Computers or IT stream
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
  • 7 to 10 Years of total experience with 4+ plus years of relevant experience in DWH Finance
  • Very good understanding application design, architectures and functions
  • Experience on Unix and shell scripting, Batch Jobs (Control M) and Data Base Performance
  • End to end process understanding of commercial banking
  • Operation management experience in handling prod support for commercial banking process
  • Knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • ccountable for all phases of the development process analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and documentation
Required Skills:
  • Experience in Financial reporting (Regulatory, consolidation, controllers, management reporting)
  • ccounting knowledge would be a plus
  • Must have experience on Oracle PL SQL
