Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

Collaborate with senior leadership to assist in the planning and execution of environmental and engineering projects.
Support the development of project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
Coordinate with project teams to identify and address project requirements and objectives.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive research, data analysis, and technical assessments related to environmental compliance and engineering design.
Evaluate regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices to inform project decision-making.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations based on research findings.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates, share insights, and address project challenges.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and innovation.

Fieldwork and Site Inspections:

Participate in fieldwork, site inspections, and data collection activities as needed to support project requirements.
Assist in the implementation of field sampling plans, data collection protocols, and quality assurance measures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures during fieldwork activities.

Professional Development:

Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Seek opportunities for training, certifications, and industry networking to stay current with emerging trends and technologies.
Proactively engage in mentorship and leadership development programs to grow within the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is acceptable.
2-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering, with a focus on Federal projects preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct research, analyze data, and generate actionable insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of environmental regulations, including NEPA, CERCLA, and Clean Water Act, is desirable.
Willingness to travel and work in the field as needed.

This is a remote position.
