Network Technician

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the final design and implementation of video network infrastructure, Video Management Systems (VMS), and camera equipment.
  • Delivering professional presentations to stakeholders.
  • Conducting system staging and acceptance testing.
  • Developing and maintaining engineering designs, diagrams, and bill of materials.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to Project Managers (PM) and Installation teams.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Project Managers to conduct site walks, identifying client needs and project scope.
  • Creating project-specific installation plans, scope documents, and test plans.
  • Configuring, integrating, and troubleshooting equipment as needed, and providing support to subcontractors.
  • Serving as an external liaison for customers, general contractors, subcontractors, and tradespeople during implementation and support phases.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience in deploying outdoor Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multi-Point wireless solutions, preferably with Cambium networks.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IP networking, network design methodologies, and troubleshooting (Ethernet, TCP/IP, L2/L3, MPLS).
  • Experience or knowledge of current industry camera and video equipment preferred/not required.
