JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standardbproduction rate and improve efficiency.

* Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

* Responsible for supporting production processes and machines.

* Works as part of a team of engineers that develop and maintain manufacturing processes

* Assist machine operators with machine faults, recoveries, and setups

* Responsible for documenting process changes

* Maintain engineering documentation: Control plans, Tool lists, etc.

* Troubleshoot and correct causes for nonconforming parts

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelors in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or equivalent degree with 1+ years of experience is preferred OR

* Associate degree with 3+ years" of experience OR

* 8+ years" experience in lieu of education

* Experience with CNC machining

* Experience with indicating a tool/part

* Demonstrated problem solving capability

* Must be self-motivated and must be able to hold themselves accountable

* Must have situational awareness and emotional intelligence

* Ability to listen and to follow direction and ask for help when/if needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

* G-code writing capability

* Experience with precision grinding and/or honing

* CAM experience
