Position Overview:

As a Plant Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supply chain process within the manufacturing plant.   5. Logistics: Coordinate transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely delivery of finished goods to customers while minimizing transportation costs and lead times.
  6. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures throughout the supply chain process to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of leading teams and driving results.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
