Overview

Prime, paint and prepare machinery and parts using an airless-air assist paint system.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Ability to operate airless paint spraying equipment
  • Apply primer and paint to parts and completed machinery
  • Apply decals, safety labels, and other miscellaneous trim after painting
  • Ability to use overhead crane with proper chains/straps/shackles/s-hooks to bring in and out of paint booth
  • Cleaning and daily maintenance of painting equipment
  • Ensure that all procedures are followed and documented as required
  • Use of personal protective equipment such as face respiratory mask, safety glasses and boots
  • Forklift experience
Physical Requirements

Heavy industrial environment with mechanical activities requiring personal protective equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Stand for extended periods of time
  • Sit, Stoop, Bend
  • Reach above shoulders
  • Lift 50 pounds
