We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller/Director of Finance to join our team. The Controller/Director of Finance will play a key role in overseeing all financial activities of the company and ensuring compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.

Job Description:

• Financial Planning and Analysis: o Develop and oversee the implementation of financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the company's objectives. o Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. o Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

• Financial Reporting and Compliance: o Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. o Oversee the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports, ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulations. o Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as necessary.

• Budget Management: o Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to establish financial targets and allocations. o Monitor budget variances and work with department heads to address deviations and optimize resource utilization. o Provide guidance and support to departments in budget planning and management.

• Cash Flow Management: o Manage cash flow and liquidity to support ongoing operations and strategic initiatives. o Implement effective cash management practices and oversee banking relationships. o Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support decision-making.

• Risk Management: o Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them. o Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets. o Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial risk management.

• Team Leadership and Development: o Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. o Recruit, train, and mentor finance staff to build a high-performing team. o Promote professional development opportunities and encourage a culture of learning and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. • Proven experience in a senior financial management role. • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute financial plans aligned with business objectives. • Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
