Job Summary:
Current Home, Inc. is a leading solar power company that has been supplying home energy solutions since 2018. We are adding a senior accounting analyst to our growing accounting team. The position will assist the accounting manager in the production of timely financial statements, month-end and year-end close, as well as producing other ad hoc reports as requested by the CEO.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports on a per job basis and companywide per month-end close deadline.
Support month-end and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals.
Determines cost of operations by establishing standard costs and collection of operational data.
Analyzes past and current financial performance data.
Prepares reports and projections based on analyses.
Revenue forecast modeling.
Assist in preparation and monitoring of performance of 13-week cashflow report.
Increase productivity by developing automated accounting applications and coordinating information requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
Familiarity with accounting and finance principles and procedures..
Excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
Experience with QuickBooks Online and SalesForce a plus.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality.
