Position Title:Scanning Agent

Job Description:

We are seeking an organized, reliable, detail and service-oriented Scanning Agent to join our growing team. In this position, you will monitor scanning department inventory to ensure that products are scanned, labeled, stored and shipped in an accurate, efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee all scanning procedures.
• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with the company's plans and vision.
• Ensure all freight is properly scanned to correct destination prior to departing.
• Stage & Scan freight to appropriate containers for other agents prior to build up.
• Scan/Sort mixed containers and identify appropriate destination cart.
• Perform various inventory counts and order supplies and goods as needed.
• Maintain scanning equipment, ensuring equipment is serviced when needed and clean on a daily basis.
• Conduct required company audits and ensure continuity and compliance at all times.

• Experience in operational planning and resource allocation preferred.
• Previous scanning experience preferred.
• Must successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certifications throughout employment.
• Must be able to read and interpret documents.
• Must be able to write reports and correspondence.
• High attention to details.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Google Sheets & Docs is a must.
