Who We Are:
As a contributing member of the Advanced EW Department, the Technology Fusion Section works to provide superior force protection to the war fighter with the insertion and fusion of advanced technologies into U.S. Government and industry systems.
Objectives of this Role:
Provide expertise to development of a heterogeneous computing framework as applied to Electronic Warfare systems.
Apply engineering knowledge in a leadership and mentorship capacity.
Become a key contributor to firmware development for the AED department.
Lead software teams of 3 to 5 engineers in development efforts.
Interface with customer in program and marketing roles.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Primary contributor to creating heterogenous computing frameworks.
Provide cost/schedule estimates for development efforts and manage cost/schedule for a team of developers.
Software development, primarily in C++.
Requirements:
Requires an Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
12-18 years: Experience performing research and development of real-time system solutions with a computer engineering emphasis (SW/FW versus hardware), preferably as applied to DoD applications. Should include knowledge of complex network frameworks from conception to implementation/test.
1-2 years: Development of software requirements and heterogeneous software solutions in the support of real time systems closely integrated with firmware.
2-5 years: Performance in a leadership role in the development of network frameworks utilizing C/C++ and C#.
Experience in the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of major proposals and serving as critical resources in program development efforts is preferred.
Experience developing training material and mentoring of lower level staff a plus.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
Special Requirements:
Work assignment is in Warner Robins, Georgia. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen.
