Fox Motors has a Parts Department Team member position opening in Grand Rapids, MI at Fox Powersports. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Parts Department Team member is a trusted expert that plays an active role in the parts department's success. As a Parts Department Team member, you are responsible for assisting and selling parts to all customers, over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone. Fox Powersports is looking for a Team Member who is customer focused, has a desire to work with technology, and outstanding communication skills. Key responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

* Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. * Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line. * Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information. * Follows up on back-ordered parts. * Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer. * Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified. * Keeps current on new products and product updates. * Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs * Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise displays * Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly * Follows up on shortages and expedites issues by reporting to the manager

Requirements

* At least 1 year experience working in parts department operations * Experience with electronic parts catalogs * High School Diploma or equivalent * Proven, excellent customer relationship skills * Ability to write and speak effectively * Able to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet functions * Clean driving record
