Job Description

Under direction, with broad latitude for exercise of independent initiative and unreviewed action, serves as a facilitation and coordination medium in assigned areas of functional responsibilities of the Vice President. Assists in development, establishment, implementation and monitoring of policy application and programs relating to the broad activities of the Division in meeting Corporate objectives within a decentralized system of health care delivery and acts for the Vice President in delegated areas of authorities.

  • Financial and budget planning for all clinical operations as assigned including all clinical laboratories and blood bank services, radiology, and woman's health among others
  • Directly collaborates with clinical and operational teams supporting prioritized initiatives
  • Project manages and collaborates with all internal and external partners, executive and senior leaders to achieve yearly strategic goals and initiatives supporting quality financial and operational pillars
  • Serve as deputy to the Vice President of Clinical Services in specific delegated areas of responsibility
  • Develops dashboard and analyze data to support informed decision-making
  • Participates and assists in the formulation of policy and standards regarding program development and implementation.
  • Assists division heads in development of policy and translates administrative policy into working programs, and assists in formulating interpretation of policy.
  • Assists in establishment of interdepartmental policies and procedures and conducts investigation and studies related to major problems in program administration.

  • Executive Directors and Staff and provides counsel and assistance.
  • Acts as a counselor to the Vice President on confidential or sensitive policy matters.
  • Assists in development and operational plans of new programs from the analytical planning scope to point of implementation and undertakes research and studies on selected problems of administration and operations.
  • Participates and assists in the review and monitoring of the office's program budget for conformity to policy and program guidance and assists in development and preparation of its budget.
  • Prepares agenda and fact sheets for the Vice President and secures background materials for use at important meetings and conferences.
  • Maintains liaison between the Vice President, various governmental agencies, nonprofit and private sector organizations and appropriate divisions of the Corporation as necessitated by the planning, development, implementation, monitoring and coordination of specific programs.
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Master's degree in hospital administration, health care planning, business administration, public administration or an approved related program and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, n, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and interorganizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or
2. A Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in health and medical service administration, public administration, personnel and labor relations, finance or appropriate functional discipline with an emphasis on planning, liaison and interorganizational relationships, or related administrative or managerial functions; or
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.
