Palmer's Security Solutions provides and installs a broad range of door systems — servicing pre-construction, logistics, operations, and support.

PSS specializes in high-performance door systems such as Sound, RF, Blast, Ballistic, Forced Entry, and FEMA, completed in a wide range of finish types from hollow metal to veneer.

We provide experts and certified product installers to aid in project needs during all construction phases including pre-construction, logistics, operations, and support.

PSS is looking for a highly motivated Project Engineer, with expertise in doors, frames, and hardware, to contribute to our corporate growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority within the industry. This position is fast-paced and will be required to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

This full-time, salaried position, will typically be performed Monday - Friday, 7 am - 4 pm at our corporate office in Manassas, VA. This position may require additional hours and weekend work to ensure the submission of project bids with tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, project management skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Minimum Qualifications: B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field Minimum of 4 years of Construction Management experience, with a focus on doors, frames, and hardware U.S. Citizenship required (This position does not offer sponsorship for H-1B Visas) Project Planning and Coordination Product Selection and Procurement Technical Expertise Quality Control and Assurance Project Guidance Documentation and Reporting

Bonus Qualifications: Strong technical knowledge of door and hardware systems, including types, materials, installation methods, and integration with building systems Proficiency in project management software and tools (Comsense, Procore, Autodesk, Bluebeam) Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship, and customer service Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to doors, frames, and hardware installations

Job Responsibilities: Onsite project coordination and management (may require travel) Coordination of design, delivery, installation, and ongoing customer interaction Address change orders, contract updates, etc. Work closely with Project Management
